"Received check in instructions immediately following booking but had to wait until noon on the day of check-in for security code to entrance gates. Self Check-in. Picked up envelope in a basket inside the reception porch with key to entrance door and room. Stayed in Room 12, which was a double superior ensuite bedroom with garden view. This was a large bedroom with a comfortable double bed, but the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Would have benefitted from a selection of hard and soft...

"We stayed in The Bothy, fabulous for a romantic night away. No noise from the neighbours but while the bath was lovely it wasn’t practical having it in the bedroom. The room does have a smell of damp and there is no ventilation other than opening windows - a quiet extractor fan in both the bedroom and toilet would be a welcome addition. For a romantic night away this is a great location but 4 nights it was too much. "

"A very unique and beautiful place to stay. With lots of personal touches. Beautiful flowers in the room when we arrived and some delicious brownies which we enjoyed upon arrival. Spotlessly clean, spacious with beautiful furnishings and a lovely big comfortable bed. We had a great nights sleep as it was lovely and quiet. "A lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting. We only found out that there was no wifi once we had booked. This also meant that there was no Smart TV as advertised. The listing should state clearly that there is no WIFI. Also the information pack in the cottage gave no instructions regarding the rubbish bins.
