"Absolutely lovely, rooms were comfortable and had lots of space. Reception was warm and friendly on arrival. Loved the decor in the bar area. Breakfast was great lots of choice and staff were great. Great location, everything was walkable close to town and the University. Parking was easy and opposite the hotel . Lots to do and see. Would definitely stay again. Thank you "

"We had a lovely couple of nights in the hotel The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable Although it is situated about 25 mins walk from the centre we found 2 great pubs nearby. "

"I often stay at The Vermont and have always had a good experience. On this occassion, Daniel (don't think iv seen him before) at Reception was amazing. We had a very early start and were tired from our journey. Daniel swifty took care of our bags and bought us some coffee. Helped us with suggestions for Brunch places. Overall, Daniel was very kind, helpful and has amazing front of house presence. "

"Staff were really nice. Room covered what was need but a bit chilly. The manager came to help when asked though. Food was AMAZING! Not everything was spot on but on A for effort for the staff who tended to everything. Would go back"

"Reasonable price. Good sized room. Heating very basic - either very hot or cold. Thin duvet, comfy bed. Had suite but living area too narrow to watch tv- tv very close to sofa. Lovely breakfast."
