"Very enjoyable stay at this property. The house is lovely! Great space in the garden for the kids to play. We set up a badminton net and they used in daily. Good woods at the back of the property to walk and explore too! Perfect if you're wanting to head into Newcastle city centre and many of the local beaches. Slight confusion on the beds when we arrived (6 adults and 3 children), as it there was one set of bedding short. However, Derek and Paula were quick on responding and sorted it very...

"Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened."

"Lovely property but needs a little TLC. For instance curtain in lounge half hanging off, no lock for front bathroom door, loads of lightbulbs not working, video game not working holes in wall in bathroom and one of the bedrooms. Having said this the beds were comfortable, lots of space for 10 people and hot tub a great bonus. Nothing to spoil the holiday but just a few niggles."

"We had a wonderful stay at juliette's home in Gateshead, UK. Very accurate description and photos. Good info and communications from owner. Perfect location near our family/friends and for walks into town. Right around the corner from the lovely Tudor Rose pub. Very clean, comfortable, nice linens and towels provided. Had a wonderful time and would stay again for our next visit. thank you."

Lovely

"Lovely hotel - staff were so friendly and helpful and always greeted me with a smile. The room was very comfortable and we had a great view of the river. Couple of minor niggles, the room service tray wasn’t collected for quite a while and I did have to ask for it to be removed. The heating is way too high and I couldn’t adjust it. The bathroom was clean but very tired and in desperate need of updating. The shower wasn’t great and had an old fashioned curtain over the bath that was a little mouldy in places. "
