"Fabulous stay! Lovely large room with a river view, twoi comfy chairs to watch the world go by. We had a comfy bed and all te facilities anyone would need. Well definitely stay there again. Oh, and lovely, polite and helpful staff. "

"We enjoyed a very lovely stay for the carabao cup celebrations, staff and hotel were all perfect, as was the use of the robot room service which was the cherry on top for my 6 year old son. I would have given a 5 star review but have been left with a sour taste in my mouth on departure, as we were informed the hotel no longer offers discounts on parking despite both the carpark signage and the Maldron hotels website both stating it does, just feel very misled."

"Hotel was fine but I d say more suited to friends coming to Newcastle on a night out. This was our experience staying on a Saturday night. It was noisy for most of the night groups of friends coming back from pubs and clubs, singing, shouting and carrying on their night back in their rooms. If you are travelling with family or a light sleeper I d probably say to avoid at the weekends. We don’t have a problem with it as we only stayed for 1 night and it was cheap. "We had a wonderful time the staff was so helpful, kind and thoughtful. It was like staying with family. Couldn't have been any better, thanks so much. Audrey and Mark the managers run a great staff. Exceded expectations

"I got stranded at the airport due to a cancelled flight. This hotel was the cheapest option hence why we booked it. It absolutely exceded expectations. The guy at the desk gave me a bigger room than I'd booked for free. It was spacious, clean, had all the things I needed. I got room service breakfast with the freshest most amazing crossaints I've ever had. The staff let me stay all day in the bar while I waited for my flight. When the restaurant opened the food was good. The staff did everything they could do to assist me. Honestly you would have thought it was tripple the price it was. 0 issues with cleanliness. I would have liked if they served lunch but completely understood why they didn't (no one else is hanging out at an airport all day are they?) Would definitely recommend. "

"Well located for my needs. Staff were extremely friendly, good amenities. Good food choice and food was really good. Had breakfast and evening meals Had a premium room, was very cosy and tidy and comfortable. Will definitely use again"
