"Booked this hotel again because of the facilities after a hard day on the road the spar is a nice go to relax. ….. I was horrified to find that a 45min relaxation session was going to cost £8 even though the pricing tariff stated £5 apparently the price had increased that day. Location is remote for visiting the local area but only a short drive away. This hotel will now be taken off my favourite list of places to stay when working again in the area. Not got a feel good satisfaction this time...

"Excellent Hotel, and would definitely book again, especially for the price. Booked 2 rooms and the only negative point would be that due to the rooms having a small kitchen area one of the rooms still had a very strong smell of curry lingering in the room from the previous occupant. This smell lingered throughout my stay."

Lovely

"Lovely hotel - staff were so friendly and helpful and always greeted me with a smile. The room was very comfortable and we had a great view of the river. Couple of minor niggles, the room service tray wasn’t collected for quite a while and I did have to ask for it to be removed. The heating is way too high and I couldn’t adjust it. The bathroom was clean but very tired and in desperate need of updating. The shower wasn’t great and had an old fashioned curtain over the bath that was a little mouldy in places. "
