"This could be a nice hotel but staff aren't very welcoming or knowledgeable. Filthy mattress covering, curtains in restaurant at breakfast all stained and dirty, 40 minute wait after ordering breakfast just not good enough "

"Lovely hotel, friendly staff and comfortable bedrooms. Great touch too with the bar running the honesty policy (although I did not use the bar, it was fab to have that option). "

"Check in was easy and staff were happy to accommodate. Room was spotless and well stocked with coffee and tea. Bed was comfortable and we slept rrwllu well. Breakfast haf a great tange of cooked and continental items too. "

"First time staying at this hotel since the makeover. The room was spacious, large comfortable bed. Good size bathroom, supplied with complementary shampoo, conditioner etc. large bathroom towels. Tea/coffee making facilities. The only negative thing for me was the pillows, too soft. "

"The hotel was clean and well run. Disappointed no hotel info in room and no room service available which would have been welcome after a long, tiring, driving day. Bar meals were avdd as liable as dining room closed but you weren’t allowed to take meals to your room."
