"The situation in a woodland property was nice. The interior was nice , although probably more rustic than luxury. It was good to have an open fire, because the living area was cold without it : perhaps a heat pump as well would be a good idea. We had to get lots more firewood from the woodpile especially kindling as we lit the fire each morning and evening. The living area was quite dark. "Wow, this was so nice, the surroundings were beautiful.. Laura and Derek very kind and helpful to make sure you have a good time in town or going to the Milford sound, she helped arrange a ride to M-S..I recommend it..parking is limited. "This was one of our favorite properties during our stay in New Zealand. An extremely large one bedroom unit with kitchen and living area. Comfy bed and milk and water stocked in the fridge. No A/C, but not needed as quickly as it cools down after sunset. Very walkable to everything in town."
