"There were numerous things that were misleading about this property on booking. The major issue being the 4th double bedroom was downstairs in the garage. Exposed to the cold, far away from others in the house and we were unable to use it as a bedroom which made sleeping arrangements difficult as a party of 8 (2 families). Another inconvenience for our travels was the washing machine was not working. When we called Bachcare they said they knew about this and therefore had not listed a washing...

"Such a great place to relax and chillout for a week. Great views across the lake and to the mountains, particularly from the spa which was such a treat. It was great having the wood fire which we used a couple of times. Loved that it was close to Queenstown and far from the maddening tourists. Loved the fresh herbs to cook with. Definitely recommend to all and we have booked in again for 2025."

"We wanted a cosy place for Christmas and this place was perfect for this! It was a step back to 60/70s which suited our family perfectly, lots of memories of our Grandfathers home which made it extra special. A few things that needed support with and the management team where quick and efficient it didn't effect our stay at all. "

"This incredible cottage was extremely comfortable and spacious, exactly as described and so charming! It’s perfect for visiting wineries, close to Arrowtown and Queenstown, but also so private and peaceful you may not want to leave. Lovingly decorated and cared for, and including everything you may need to cook and relax under the stars. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts, we hope to see you again soon! :)"

"We loved this quirky, personality-packed property. It's centrally located, spotlessly clean and has a brand new bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and I imagine it would be a lovely, cosy house in winter as there is an open fire. Highly recommended!"

"Awesome accomodation with amazing views of the lake and close to everything . The house is equipped with everything you need including games, kayaks and bikes for activities . Great stay if your brining along your pet with the property being fully fenced and located right up the road from the lake track. I’ll definitely be booking here for future trips- Highly recommend !! ."

"The views from the property are stunning, garden is lovely and kitchen good. A few minor things wrong which where communicated to the company but no response. It sleeps 15, but lounge, dining and outside can only cope with 8. TV room is rubbish and sofas uncomfortable and cheap, really needs a tv in lounge and master bedroom. However the views trump all of these issues "
