"Pleasant stay, paid with Tesco vouchers so well worth the cost. Room was a bit dated and tired but very clean. Lots of equipment in the gym and nice swimming pool, steam room and sauna. Had to wait about 15mins to use though because only allow max number of 48 but this is actually a positive as not too busy. Pleasant evening meal and breakfast. Also close to a trail around an old Roman settlement which we enjoyed after checkout "

"All was ok with the rooms, and communal areas. Lovely breakfasts although disappointing not having some of menu available. Magie as always was efficient and entertaining at breakfast. Our only complaint was the manager challenged our son who was sat on balcony having a drink waiting for us. Accusing him of not being a guest and drinking his own beer. "Only booked at short notice as I decided to extend my trip and my previous hotel was very expensive for the extra night. I'm glad I did. Lovely little place, plenty of little touches that the big chains forget such as biscuits and hot chocolate being readily available. Only met the owners briefly but they seemed very friendly and were flexible with me arriving late.
