"The hotel is lovely. The rooms are very good and the heating system is simple to use.the staff are all lovely. Breakfast could be improved. The cooked breakfast is buffet style and the products they use seem great quality but as it’s all in warming trays, it’s actually cold or lukewarm at best. Thus hotel would be perfect if the breakfast was cooked for you rather than dive buffet style. "

"This hotel is ideal for a break in north Norfolk and is very reasonably priced. We stayed in mid December 2025 for two nights. The hotel is in very good condition and very well kept. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant both nights and had fabulous meals with excellent service. "The room looked ok but on closer inspection not so good! Bathroom had mould in the tile grout in the shower and the remaining bathroom was bare plaster. The toilet seat was not attached properly. The bathroom had some sort of sewage maceration system that would go off every hour throughout the night! Nobody knew how the tv worked!! Four remotes for 1 tv!! They then had to go out for batteries as nobody could get it to work! There were thick cobwebs around one of the pictures but the room was...

"Our room was clean and tidy on arrival, few paint chips noticed around the room, especially in bathroom and on bathroom door, these are easily fixed and should be done prior to any guests arrival. More pillows should be available if needed, as my partner felt two were not sufficient to accommodate her sleep. TV in room had infrequent digital reception and the remote control does not allow full access to all of the TV, the TV itself is also very dated and does not have internet access...

"Perfect venue. Location excellent for where we needed to be. Lovely friendly people who couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The place had a lovely warm feeling about it, lots to look at in the dining area and around the place, everything had been thought out so well. WONDERFUL."
