"As a Heritage hotel, it is in a historic building which gives it charm. Whilst the carpet and furniture and fixtures are dated, nothing about the hotel is dirty so it was still comfortable. The reception staff were excellent and really helped us have a relaxed stay from the outset"

Very charming and warm as a proper B&B should feel. Even though the breakfast time was from 7:30 am, the hosts were up and ready before 7 to accommodate a group of guests that were leaving earlier. I also liked that the shared bathrooms were single occupancy instead of having to share a bathroom with several other people using different stalls, as I've seen at other hostels.
