"Really lovely ‘get away from everyday life’ holiday. Super helpful and friendly staff (who work so hard), food choices were great and liked how quiet and peaceful the small island is. So relaxing made it very hard to want to do anything! Only tip to add: if you’re a pasty white ‘gringo’, make sure to pack a decent insect repellent as when the wind drops and the sun is out, so are the sand flies. The staff recommend baby oil! Would recommend coming to Shaka Caye in a heartbeat."

"This was our second time staying at Abezza, but it won't be our last! The first time we only stayed a single night, as we were driving around the country ourselves. We were a little unsure of what we would be arriving at, as it's a bit off the beaten path(it's not like you'll wander onto the property off the street in Belize City).
