"HIGHLY recommend Ramon’s! We stayed in a few locations while in Belize and Ramon’s was by far the best location. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. My suitcase got lost on the flight over to the island. They handled everything and had my bag in my room within an hour. We will be visiting again! "

"Check in was smooth and the front desk staff was very helpful. The property is 5 -7 min walk to the water taxi terminal. We had arranged a pick up from the airport via the hotel that was a huge benefit. A few restaurants close by which was a plus and we felt safe walking at night. Our room was on 3rd floor and perfect for our stay. A bottle of water and coffee was provided. Will stay here again if we need to spend a night or two in Belize city."

"We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. "The property is well maintained, the rooms are clean. The beach is kept clean. The water is calm and relaxing. We only stayed 1 night so did not get a chance to swim in the pools. The staff are friendly, the Rhum Shack restaurant has good food. I would definitely come back for a longer stay."

"Authentic hotel to stay at. Beautiful. Note, there is a lot of seaweed so you can’t go in the water. Well you can a little on the left hand side. There are a lot of waves. I saw a couple go to the pier and jumped in for their daily swim. Also, the price for diner or anything you purchase at hotel from spa to food or anything else, it’s US Dollars.
