"While the location and property itself is fine, it is in a high standard with artsy feel there is one major shortcoming. Apparently hotel has this weird “policy” whereby they assume guests do not want room cleaned (for staying more than one night) unless they inform the staff they wanted room cleaned or put a “sign” on the door saying you want room cleaned. The front desk agent was not sympathetic and did not understand how ridiculous the policy is. I’m surprised other guests did not mention...

"Very nice lobby and breakfast. Close to central walking area. The area around the back of our room, and the guests below our room, were very loud into the night. Difficult to sleep until things quieted down at 1am. Parking is off site, either 20 Euro per day at the closer parking lot, or free at the lot that is a 15 minute walk away (not fun if raining). "

"Central location in Altstadt Salzburg but remaining amazingly quiet. Easy walking distance of main sites near Mirabell Palace but would need to cross the river for other sites of interest. The restaurants that are close are very good for both atmosphere and food. The facilities are good but limited. Staff friendly and helpful. The room was large and adequate for tourists needs. The drink making facilities, although there were limited and very few drinks were replaced without requesting. ...

"I stayed for 4 full days. The area that the hotel is located is very safe and quiet. The train station is about a 5 minute walk which makes it easy to head downtown or to any district for that matter. There is a small market (grocery store) which is right next door about a 1 minute walk when exiting the building to your left. "Just came back from a fabulous trip to this hotel. Lovely and clean and very well maintained- we were half board and the food was delicious and beautifully presented - they accommodated all our meal requests (we were 2 pescatarians and 2 non red meat eaters) so happily - as if it wasn’t an effort at all. Spa was lovely and we enjoyed the sauna steam thoroughly after we finished skiing for the day. It’s a quiet place so no nightlife, but it still suited us. Ski bus just around the side of hotel...
