The staff were generally unable to converse in English and thus I had to use my broken German to try to get by - this resulted in my interactions with all but one person (a waitress at breakfast) being terse and cold - which is not/not typical for Austrians. "My parents, husband, and I spent two glorious days at this hotel and we are eager to return. This is a Spa and wellness hotel and not a tourist hotel, which is why we chose it. I speak some German, but my parents and husband speak only English. We were happy to find that the hotel provided English translations for the restaurant menus, Spa offerings, and information about the rooms and surrounding area. "We really loved this hotel. They have all kinds of amenities, including a spectacular spa, several saunas, bowling alley, electric bikes, and an expensive fitness room. The staff was very kind and helpful. I have food, allergies, and they created a whole three course meal special for me each night."

"Everything was great!! Only issue was we asked for an extra pillow and for maintenance to check our A/C because ours was broken. One receptionist that we asked first never brought use the extra pillow and told us maintenance would check out the A/C during the day but they never did. We asked someone else the second night and she immediately brought us the pillow and switched our room instead of having us stay another night in the hot room. Other than the small inconvenience we enjoyed our stay!!"
