"Great hotel across from the beach. Hot breakfast, clean rooms that seem a bit larger than most. Parking can be a challenge as the underground lot is a bit small. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Our stay was great. We wanted an affordable place for our family of four for a week with a view of the ocean and an easy drive to Disneyland for a couple of the days. This place fit the bill perfectly! The pool was heated and we had it mostly to ourselves every day. It was great to watch the sun set over the ocean from the hot tub! We visited the games room on one of the rainy days and played some pool, shuffleboard, and foosball, and the kids had fun. We also borrowed bikes one of the days from the activity room, and really enjoyed our ride along the oceanfront across the street. There were a couple areas being renovated, but we didn't hear any noise from the work (the "outdatedness" seemed to be something many others mentioned in their reviews... they're actively upgrading a few areas). One of the other complaints we read beforehand was that there would be pressure to sign up to buy a vacation timeshare, but other than a quick mention of there being a presentation IF we were interested (which we weren't), it was never mentioned again during our eight-night stay. Overall, the grounds were well-kept, our room was comfortable, and the little kitchen was well-appointed with everything we were looking for during our stay (we ate breakfast and lunch at the room most days). People who like to complain could surely find something to complain about anywhere, but we personally had no issues with anything at all during our stay! "

"Enjoyed our stay here for our 26th wedding anniversary. . Was absolutely amazing. All staff members were so accommodating and wonderful. Simone and Christine at the Lanterns Edge were such a joy and so helpful during our stay. Very relaxing and amenities were top notch. Thanks to everyone at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort for a wonderful time. The Wassams "
