"This was our first international family vacation, so we have nothing to compare to, but we thought everything was excellent. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, food and drinks were good, room and resort overall was kept very clean. If I had any complaints it would be that at the time of our visit the water slide was under repair, the buffet retaurant could have used some updated dinning furniture (some of the chairs were a little questionable to sit on) and staff do not enforce saving beach chairs for the day so chairs often were hard to come by. We also didnt realize at the time how many extras we would end up adding to our room charges (cabana rentals, special events, wine, etc), but we know now for next time. We took a cab to the ferry and out to Isla Mujeres to do the Dolphin Discovery for one day but otherwise we spent the entire vacation on the resort by a pool or in a cabana by the ocean. The kids loved playing in the waves. There are activities available on the beach like parasailing, and body board rentals. Overall it was a great time and we would stay again."

"Grounds were beautiful, rooms specious and bright, staff exceptionally helpful and friends, food plentiful, beaches and sea welcoming, weather perfect. Only criticism is the complications of making reservations at the restaurants, which were difficult at times, but for the help of staff. The food in two of the four we ate at was hard to order as the portions were not clearly delineated in the menu. The steakhouse and Mamma Mia was very generous, and delicious. An excellent value,especially having taken advantage ofd a package of transportation and hotel.."
