"We had a great stay here. The neighborhood is not so attractive but once inside all fine. Taxi from Cancun airport was ridiculously expensive. This hotel offered to send a driver at a much better price than taxi cost."

"The stay was just as described. The hosts were very attentive and the breakfast was nice. My only complaint would be that the walls were very thin and the guests weren’t very quiet next door. Overall I would stay again though. "

"Beautiful house ! Great pool and the best little beach we have been ! The breakfasts where really good and the service was great overall. You do need to rent a golf cart or motorcycle to go back and forward downtown. "

"Friendly people! I like that the localtion is not in a hotel zone but rather in a nice neighborhood with eating options. One negative was that the WIFI signal did not really reach our room upstairs. Also be advised, no coffee on premise. - we found a nice cafe nearby though! "

"We only stayed at the Mansion Giahn for one night, but Joseph and his staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The place itself is very unique in the architecture and I thought it was very pretty. It is located somewhat off the beaten path, so there aren't many food options around. However, Eduardo took my husband to a local taco stand to get us dinner, which was very gracious of him. It's not the Ritz, but it's not meant to be either. Still had a good stay!"

"The place is nice, you have to stay more than 1-2 days to get the magic of the place!! The chef is great and the food is ok. I wish there were option to more meals during the day, because the hotel is very far from any restaurant or a kiosk. It's pretty annoying that there are boxes for tips in any corner you go. "Overall a great alternative to the din of the large all inclusive resorts. The pics on this site are of the actual place. Everything was just as described, this property is in an area of condos and private residences but you are very close to shopping and the nightlife. The rooms are a bit dated but are clean and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate you. Make sure that you have a translator app because sometimes there isn't anyone around that speaks English. The only small issue is...

"Wonderful relaxing vacation from the moment I arrived. At the front desk, friendly faces welcoming a solo traveler & very helpful. Dining room service, at the pool service & bar service was wonderful. Dont forget to TIP YOUR SERVERS. Clean rooms great air conditioning, great balcony views. Beautiful place, great value... was there before...will be back again. Was there offseason so overcrowding not an issue. Don't forget to tip your servers"

Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas - Adults Only- All Inclusive

"The evening shows were great. Zero to very short wait for restaurants. Rooms were cool. Water hot. Great water pressure. Special requests were accommodated. Staff super friendly. Walking distance to shops. Felt safe. All rooms have good ocean view. Food always available regardless of time of day. The neon party at the neighboring RIU was super fun for all ages, shapes and sizes—don’t miss out! Saw a couple beach vendors but they didn’t stay long. Not sure if it’s because nobody was buying or because staff chased them away. Whatever the case it was nice not being bothered. We would totally go back to this resort. "

"We arrived early and were greeted by the staff in a very friendly manner. Service was excellent. At first, the Ac in the room was not working, and they sent a technician right away to fixed the issue. The rooms are a little outdated but the excellent service of the staff more than makes up for it. "
