The food was better than other Riu properties that we stayed at, staff was friendly and great. Gym was decent but could be crowded early in the AM. Place seemd new and in great condition. I haven't been to adults only in a long time so I wasn't ready for obese women in string bikinis and loud obese drunk guys. The resort has no hand in this and I'm sure this wasn't encouraged but you can be at a place with these types.

The entertainment group by the pool was very ignorant. I never experienced that with anybody i’ve been to 35 resorts in that area never experienced ignorance by the entertainment group at any other resort

Zero good entertainment, the theater show is the worse I’ve ever been to in any resorts.. Cheap in shows, corny bands performing. Drinks are made of water, zero alcohol. The staff working at the buffet are extremely rude and the managers overlooking buffet are even worse. I was kicked out of the buffet with 2 of my friends only because the buffet does not have any sign in front stating the outfit requirements for dinner. On our first day we went to grab something quick to eat right after we left the pool area, around 6pm. We were dressed in bathing suits and had beach cover up. All staff working there watched us picking up food from the buffet and did not say anything until we sat down at the table. We had at least 4 different people asking us to leave. Extremely rude staff on top of that we approached 2 managers standing at the front door in buffet and we asked where they had w sign located about the outfit in the buffet after 5pm and none of them could point the sign outside. We left and lost appetite for the night. Nasty rude people working there, the resort is cheap in pool activities as well. You will be bored there staying linger than 2 days. We stayed 4 days and there was nothing to do. They only have one store to shop. Rooms are dusty also. I will not be going back there ever!

Second time my wife and I visited Mexico. This resort is extremely clean, well staffed, organized, and offers plenty of onsite entertainment to keep you on the resort. Not to mention the beautiful beaches and clear blue water! Would highly recommend Riu Latino to any adult couple looking to relax, have fun, and enjoy a vacation.

This property was lovely, booked out but not as exciting as the other Riu. The dining options were okay the buffet was good, and the Milan is lovely. There are not enough bathroom facilities in the main areas so from the restaurant and bar it's a good walk every time. The drinks were ok. The staff was amazing, honest, clean friendly. Nelli in the buffet area is the best server. She made our trip very special with her warmth and friendliness every time we ate at the buffet. Overall my family and I loved it.

New property. Good food. Clean. Friendly staff. Very nice beach. Adults only, no kids ( a big plus). Party Hotel not very quiet. Very big, a ton of walking. Not for older people. Very bad design, for a big place like this barely any elevators and bathrooms. Would not return.

The hotel was modern and clean, with excellent drinks and friendly staff. The beach was beautiful and well-maintained. However, the food did not meet our expectations and could have been better.

I stayed for a week with my boyfriend and another couple and we had a blast! We stayed in the swim out rooms. Definitely recommend. We absolutely loved the food. In our opinion the buffet was the best. I’m celiac and was worried about food options, everything is labeled at the buffet and so many options for me, and even at the restaurants everyone was labeled in the app if it was an allergen. I was very impressed. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Our favorites were Pedro and Mike. We spent most days at the pools, the beach was very nice but we preferred to have the swim up bars right next to us!

I have been to Cancun the past 4 years in a row and this resort is by far the worst. I will never stay at another Riu again. Food was horrible, staff was not great or friendly, resort credits were not at all what we were told they were, rooms were incredible noisy and honestly kind of dirty, and construction was going on outside while we were there. Would not recommend this resort

We spent a week at this all-inclusive property. There was good beach access, fun activities, very attentive and nice staff, and food was good. The hotel rooms were very clean. The property is very well maintained and the grounds are beautiful. The pools were super clean and enjoyable. We did RiuFit (excercise/yoga) that was fun and led by a helpful staff member (Marco). Staff is all very attentive from food staff (wait staff in restaurants), to bar tenders, to entertainment staff, to housekeeping, etc. The entertainment staff was a lot of un during the day and the evening presentations. Very positive experience and we were sorry to leave. (I also enjoyed that this property does NOT have time shares or anyone bugging you to buy them. It really is a hotel-like resort with everything included, and not time share property.) This was an adults-only resort. With our young adult sons, it was a good place to spend a week together. There were all ages of adults but it skewed a bit younger than we are (but there were people older than we are too) and our sons had a good time meeting people their age and others to hang out with. They played a lot of beach volleyball. We did too. We also liked the mixture of the buffet restaurant with the sit-down restaurants and tried them all. The Japanese and Italian ones were probably our favorites, but all we good. We would stay at a Riu property again.
