"This Best Western is located walking distance from Marina State Beach. It is quiet and cozy, with fire pits and a decent outdoor area. The rooms have recently been renovated and were quite nice although the bathrooms are not as modern. Towels are thin and pillows are a little sad, but quite in line for the price point. The drive into Monterey was easy, and we found some great food in Marina and Seaside that saved us from the traffic and chaos of Monterey st. I would stay here again (or across the street at the Resort if I splurge!)"

"Room was very clean. Aesthetics is modern and minimalist which is perfect for our one night stay. Check-in was easy. We were freezing when we arrived but the heater did its job quickly. Only downfall was I Wish I read the reviews about this place being on a busy street. Sirens and loud motorcycles throughout the night. I could hear every single car passing by and we’re not even in a room closest to the street. Walls are fairly thin, I could hear other people’s conversations through the walls when they’re talking loud enough. For the price we paid though, I think it’s a good deal. "
