"Our stay was pleasant. Our room had a musty mildew smell coming from the bathroom. When we informed the hotel, they tried a deodorizer for 20 minutes but when it didn't help, they moved us from a 2 double bed room, to a one bedroom king suite with 2 rollaway beds for the kids. They were extremely apologetic and left us a personalized note and a plate of fruit for our troubles. "if you want a hotel in the main shopping area of Singapore this one is perfect. The pool on the top of the hotel was amazing, the prices for the drinks were quite high but you pay for the view and the ambiance. If you can book a club room it enables you to use the quiet cool lounge, have breakfast, snacks in the afternoon and a couple of hours 17:30 - 19:30 of free drinks and nibbles in the evening.The staff are all amazing and extremely helpful."

"I wasn't sure about the location at first so only stayed here at the start of first layover. The rooms are big. The queen bed is great. If they had the same room size with king bed, might have been better for suitcases. Was so easy to get Grab and navigate around Singapore. Would defo recommend staying here. More value for money and the bathroom was much bigger than another fancy hotel I stayed at the end of trip. "

"Robertson hotel was a wonderful experience in a colonial style but modern building. Amenities included good sized open air pool, gym, reading/relaxation rooms, etc concierge took our bags to our room and didn't stop for a tip!
