"Hotel was very nice and in a great location. Just a few minutes walk to Big Ben. Regular room (accessible) was a very good size. King bed and bedding were very comfortable. Buffet breakfast was okay. Fairly large selection. They moved a lot of people through the breakfast area quickly. Staff was friendly. Everything was very clean and well kept. We stayed here based on a recommendation and I would also recommended and stay here again. "

"very good location right beside Dominion Theatre & TCR tube & Elizabeth line stations plus buses to jus about everywhere. stairs on entry to hotel a pain but disabled “lift” made arrival with luggage accessible. quick efficient friendly check in, quick lift and renovated single room perfect with even fridge, safe, A/C TV too complicated (I never did get it to work!) woul stay again & recommend "

"I have to say, my stay at Strand Palace was amazing for many reasons. They got to know that I have planned my stay to celebrate my 20th marriage anniversary. It was nice to witness how they decorate the room with Balloons and provided special chocolates and two bottle of champaign (although we do not drink alcohol they immediately changed it to any drink we desire from the hotel restaurant) The hotel staff are so welcoming and very attentive to what ask for, they were also very helpful when asked for any guide for our walk around the city. During our stay, at midnight, the fire alarm went on, I have to give all of their staff the credit of how organized they were with the evacuation process, the marshalls were on spot with every single details in the evacuation process and coordination with the fire fighting team, thank god it was just a smoke from a room and we were all back to our rooms. one of the great things about this hotel is every attraction in central london is a walking distance, if not, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, or take a 3 to 5 minutes walk to the underground. The only downside was the room size, it was to small but manageable. Having this all in mind, you can never go wrong in staying here, i would definitely lodge back here again on my next trip to London"

"We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this amazing hotel. The Cumberland is a great choice when visiting London especially if you are traveling with your kids. We reserved a junior suite which had a very comfortable pull out sofa already made up for our teenage daughter. The room was spacious and so very clean. The bathroom was amazing with modern decor and so warm! Honestly the best shower on our 2 week trip! It is a big hotel, but with real processes and trained staff in place to accommodate guests. There is such a great energy and vibe one feels as soon as you enter the property which was amazing and fun. Superb bar and nightly entertainment on lobby floor, amazing gym and conveniences to get food any hour of the night. Good security and the facilities are so updated and clean. This is an ideal location very close to Hyde Park and major attractions. Highly recommend this hotel and its amazing staff for your next trip to London "
