"I stayed here for acess to the racecourse that is only a few hunderd walk from. The staff checking in were fantastic and had a very friendly personality. The lobby and bar area were all I saw during my stay and was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. They were also nice and warm that I really found comfortable. The room was great, comfortable bed, spacious and had everything I needed. I would have no problems at all staying here again."

"One night stay along with our 15yr old son. All 3 of us stayed in the same room which was very spacious, set out lovely and very clean. We were impressed with the decor and fealt comfortable right from first entering. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but nothing to worry about at all. The management and staff couldn’t be more helpful during our stay right from checking in to having a bite to eat and a few drinks in the bar. "Booked this hotel for my friends and I purely for a place to sleep after a day out so the price we paid (£120 total) was very reasonable for Chester. My party comprised 4 adults and we were allocated a 2 bedroom apartment at the hotel's annex. The apartment was more than suitable for our needs but would be a great place to use for a multi-night stay. There was even a car park spot at the annex which we didn't use. "

"Lovely quaint inn with loads of character. Staff were friendly and polite. fast check-in. Good choice of evening menu. Quality of food was really good. On a negative note, stayed in room 16 which has a very noisy toilet mulcher which makes a very loud grinding noise when flushing the toilet or even just running a tap. "
