"I might say you get what you pay for. Normally I stay at Nomada Beach hostel, but since I was on a shoestring I went the budget route with Casa Santurce. It was a low key place but the bunk rooms are cramped, and their is no kitchen. For a few dollars more at Nomada you get a pool, a nice kitchen, much better showers, and many different sitting areas. I'd suggest that Casa Santurce make this more cooking friendly, and also provide a few more places to sit."

"Loved my time at Casa Coral! Such a positive and relaxed place. The beach is right there, and the people running it are so welcoming. The sunrise and rooftop terrace are awesome. We stayed in a private room with shared bathrooms and it was a different but fine experience. The shared kitchen is fully stocked and they provide basicas like coffee for brewing and spices for cooking. Parking is a little tricky but people are kind and helpful. "Overall the property is beautiful. It’s right on top of a hill so you can look down and see the beautiful views of the island. The room was extremely large with a beautiful balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But the hotel shuts down after a certain time. The bar closes at 9( and the food is very good). The pool closes at 12( which is really good). The lobby and housekeeping closes at 11 I believe. So no food, towels, beverages… nothing after 11 and if you don’t rent a car there...
