"Wyndham has purchased this hotel, but done absolutely NOTHING to improve the quality of the hotel. It is more run down than it ever was before when it was just the Chicago South Loop Hotel (not the Wyndham Chicago Mccormick Hotel). The people who work at the hotel are wonderful. They are professional, kind, helpful, and caring. The general infrastructure is just old and things need to be replaced or updated like carpeting, paint on walls, and fitness center equipment. "There was chew cups, blunt wrappers, cigarette and cereal left in the room..so leave me to believe the room wasn't cleaned and the bedding was dirty! Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone"

"This was my third stay in six weeks at the hotel. I was welcomed back by the hotel staff. The host at the restaurant is always very kind and accommodating to me especially since the hours are a little in flux during the low season. Looking forward to my feb stay here. "
