"We were terribly disappointed to be kept all night from the room next door having a room party. I contacted reception at 3:30am and 05:00am who did ask the guest to quieten down, which they did for ten minutes then the music went back on. We literally had no sleep the entire night. The radiator wasn't working so had a plug in heater. No hand tissues in the bathroom. Cleanliness was poor."

"Really great stay with 2x 8 year old. Fantastic beds and view through the window. Staff really helpful! Parking could be a little bit cheaper but it is not that important when all experience combined. "

"Its ideal when our favourite restaurant is viva brazil! Staff are always smiling and always fulfill my strange requests such as an extra chocolate coffee pod at a late hour! "

"It was amazing, staff were friendly and gave advise on places around the area for a good breakfast meal. I had a one night stay so cant give a full review but the room was very clean, modern and the restroom was a top quality. Wished the TV would have internet for youtube access or Netflix, not sure if that was on a separate bundle or an included one though. "

"Staff were very helpful and accommodating and the request that I may have had also one of the rooms was not up to standard so the staff managed to relocate us to a different room overall good stay not any issues whatsoever in a very pleasant and enjoyable experience"

"Parkgate is a great place to stay for a day or two in Cardiff. Walking distance from Cardiff Market, Castle and high street. Great food options and shopping nearby. The staff was great and very helpful. The spa (which is a separate business located in the hotel) wasn’t our favorite but the hotel itself is great. Definitely recommend."
