"There's always a warm welcome at The Minster Hotel, the staff can't do enough for you. The breakfast was excellent as always and even being Coeliac didn't spoil my experience as they catered well for me. The room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. There is secure parking on the premises, to the rear, which is great as you can leave your car there during your stay and it's only a very short walk to the centre of the city. We have stayed a number of times and will continue to stay...

"We stayed for 3 nights for a Christmas shopping trip, the hotel is in a perfect location very close to York Minster and with lovely bars and restaurants on the doorstep. We were met with a very warm welcome, our room was small but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend this lovely boutique Guest House"

"Quiet neighborhood within walking distance of York sights. Breakfast was delicious, but it cost £15 per person. The cook staff was wonderful. Two small problems… be sure to tell them in advance if you need a parking spot. We almost didn’t get one. It was £10 per night for parking with the hotel. It would have cost more in the nearby lot. Also, no one went in our room to freshen the dishes or towels. All that said, it was clean and comfortable and in a great location. "
