Just returned from a two night stay best described as ok. The hotel looks impressive and public areas are smart. The room however was small and 'tired'. It was also quite noisy. The location is reasonable being right next to the railway station about half a mile from the centre. Parking was a bonus but expensive. The real let down was breakfast. It is buffet style and on both mornings hot food was almost cold and several items missing. Not great for around £20 a head. Overall, ok but certainly not great and at £160 per night, not cheap T

The property was beautiful and staff were very helpful. The leisure facilities were clean but the temperature settings on steam room and sauna were very high to the point you couldn’t sit down. Showers were also very cold

I stayed here with my 10 yr old daughter and picked this hotel for it's closeness to the station and because it had a swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful and although our room was small it met our needs and it was clean and tidy Would definitely stay here again
