"Great hotel with attentive staff, issue at check in was sorted immediately and we were mived to another room. Rooms are on the small side, but if you're out and about all day, as we were, its not an issue. Flooring i the bathroom needs re-laying however, as it has lifted away. Would stay again."

"Lovely hotel with quirky decor. A real gem and within easy walking distance of the station and city centre. Great that the staff will pick up your luggage from the station on arrival and it was in our room when we arrived. Afternoon tea was wonderful and we loved the pantry and record player in our room. "We stayed for 3 nights for a Christmas shopping trip, the hotel is in a perfect location very close to York Minster and with lovely bars and restaurants on the doorstep.
