"Been staying in Winchester for years to break up trip to VT. Usually stay directly off of highway but was looking for something different. This hotel was quite nice, as it had a restaurant and bar. It was about five minutes off 81 but if you don’t mind the extra drive I’d recommend staying the night. "

"The place was closed and looks like it has been for quite sometime. The outside was run down and litter all over. We drove 5 hours to get there and even had a confirmation number from hotel. Com. Very disappointed!!!!!!"

"Liked to stay in historic hotel. It's old but beautiful. Liked the overall vintage look. We had a small room therefore it was really small .... the single chair is too close to bed and not so comfortable without an "ottoman" .. i know ottoman is not part of the chair but it felt quite uncomfortable but not a big deal. Liked the speakeasy restaurant. Facade is beautiful to look at from outside. "
