"The room and location were very good. Although breakfast was good and the staff working flat out there was always a wait for replacement food which did detract from having a relaxing breakfast. There was only one lift functioning which made many people wait a long time. The stairway where carpeted smelt musty and unpleasant and the carpet was very worn, not in keeping with the price of staying at the hotel. "

"We stayed in the Marriott for one night, we werdd ed down Cardiff to watch a show, from the moment we arrived at reception they were very welcoming, our room was immaculate on 7th floor, no noise very comfortable. We also had breakfast which I couldn’t fault, lots of breakfast choices, plenty of tea anc coffee on hand, the waiter service was faultless and the young girl that served coffee was so kind, would definitely stay at this hotel again"

"Had a lovely, relaxing stay at the Clayton. Staff were great and helpful. Deluxe room was clean and beds very comfortable! Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Close to shopping centre and lots of places to eat nearby! No parking but Cardiff train station car park is a 2 min walk away and very reasonable compared to other car parks in Cardiff! Will definitely stay again! "
