"This property is located in the heart of walkable Reykjavik and was hosted by a wonderful, English speaking Icelandic woman. Breakfast was served every morning with local Icelandic fare at a community table with other European quests. My only criticism: we were put in the lower level quest room with a side entrance with no instructions on how to find our room. "Lovely location. Wonderful main area and kitchen. Food was great! Hotel rooms (turf houses) are teeny - 1 bedroom house had nowhere to put luggage nor any cabinets to unpack. Bathroom had no place for toiletries. Minimal personal items such as no conditioner, no robes, no slippers. The advertised private thermal pools are actually shared with two other units. Since so little needed to be done to upgrade comfort, this could have been a 5-star experience, but didn’t quite feel that way. "
