"Upon booking, I received email confirmations including the check in process which was very straight forward and welcoming. When we arrived we attempted to follow the instructions (one being using the key to enter the main building). However the key was not there, the door was unlocked, and when we entered there was an unwelcoming vibe from the current guests. "We loved the property. The views were breathtaking and despite the extreme weather, we were always very warm & cozy. The hot tub too was outstanding. The one thing I would have fixed would be the issue with the locks not actually locking. I understand it is a rural area with little to no crime, but as a foreigner from a place that has plenty of crime, it was a bit worrisome leaving for the day’s excursions with the knowledge that the door could not properly lock.
