"This is one of the most unique and amazing places we have ever stayed. The bubble is completely transparent so it feels as if you are laying outdoors in the forest, but without the cold. We stayed in January and had to have the host turn the heat down because it was too hot for us! The bed was very comfortable and being snuggled up warm and toasty under heavy down bedding while the wind blew hard and rain fell on our bubble was just awesome! It is a no frills lodging option. The bubble has heat and power, but nothing else. No water, etc. But it is the most posh "roughing it" we have ever done."

"The hotel was great. It is a remote location and it was the middle of the winter, so I think we might have been the only people in the hotel. We chose it because we wanted to be near Thingvellir and Gullfoss. The service and food was was excellent and I would not hesitate to stay there again. There is a natural spa nearby too. "
