"A lovely hotel in wild, tranquil surroundings. Food was excellent, albeit a limited choice. For a holiday hotel, breakfast finishing at 10.00. was annoying, especially on weekends. Bed and room were small but comfortable and had most everything you needed, except tissues. On the downside, the lighting throughout the hotel is dreadful, especially the restaurant, but there is absolutely nowhere where you can sit and read, even in the bedrooms.. Similarly, for a hotel like this not to have a fireplace of any sort to sit by was also a great shame."
