"Beautiful peaceful location with excellent staff. Very small bedroom but numerous lounge areas which would make it very suitable for groups of family or friends. Paid for a mountain view but couldn't see them because trees obstructed the view. Guests should be aware that the property is about 15 kilometres before the town of Mantegias and is quite isolated. "

Quando lá cheguei, o proprietário informou-me que a Casa de São Roque está encerrada há 5 anos!!! "Beautiful property, great breakfast. Our stay was spoilt be being asked by the owner to check out two hours earlier than advertised, ie at 10am, so beware if you are checking out on Sunday. We felt we had no choice but to comply - it should not have been like that. In the rush to vacate our rooms we forgot we had to pay cash, rather than the credit card details given on booking.
