"If you don't mind that there is no hot water in the shower, it is a great place to stay - very near the beach! Uber is a reliable way to get anywhere downtown and there is a little store nearby for buying essentials, including alcohol. The real gem is Eduardo who is an outstanding host and I can't say enough good words for him. We spent 7 nights in January 2025. Cheers, Denis"

"Hotel las Americas is a very nice hotel, lots of pools to chose from. Proximity to the airport makes this a great place to stay. Some of the rooms are a bit outdated, we had to call to have the water pressure and hot water adjusted twice and they responded right away. Otherwise, we truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again. "

"For the price it's a great hotel, clean, good service, good breakfast, the restaurant could have better food options for the day. It is "far" and not that "easy" walk to downtown Cartagena, but it's very close to the airport. Again, all th staff was great, and it was very clean, pool has games for kids, and there is also a kid's area. Right outside there is a 2km nice circuit to run Moving in taxi is very easy and accessible "
