"Horrible beds, bed sheets filthy and gray looking,tiny pillows no bed comforters,I sleep in my side and during the nigth I could feel the metal things from the mattress hurting me...no hot water,terrible breakfast but worst of all my hotel room key opened up another room in a different floor!!! Since the elevator wasent working i had to take the stairs and ended up on another floor by mistake and i realized until I was inside someone elses room...but I opened it with my hotel room key!!!...

"Pleasantly surprised! Tucked away in La boquilla, ( not a very rich area) is a beautiful retreat. Cold room, stunning balconies and rooftop. Full kitchen. Only place to eat is next door, closes early. I used Rappi for other meals beach is long and swimable. The whole town come out in evening to play soccer it's a very lovely family town. We had a little issue with the water briefly, but it was quickly resolved and the owner/admin was very apologetic and understandably was out of their hands. "Truly, if you’re going to Cartagena, I HIGHLY recommend townhouse boutique hotel. There’s literally nowhere else I would consider staying. Unfortunately, due to weather we weren’t able to experience their sister hotel which also has raving reviews on here but hopefully I will be able to the next trip around. "We enjoyed a short stay at Castillo Ines Maria. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts (which change daily) were delicious and filling.
