"A great place to stay for anywhere near to the m40 around junction 15. Stratford Upon Avon is only a 15 minute drive away and Bicester Shopping Village is around 40 mins drive away. "Overall a good stay at Hockey House, friendly staff, excellent food and a good night's rest. My only concern is that a superior double is nothing more than a standard double just a slightly larger room. No chairs or stool to sit on just a bed, a table with drinks making facilities and a standard bathroom. I would stay again but would ask to see the room first before accepting it as my stay."

"It used to be the perfect place to stay in the region, but I see it starts to lose its service level. Waiting for osomeone to come to the reception for 20 minutes and it took another 20 mins to check us in...and we are regularly going there for business."

"Really friendly staff and a lovely hotel. Stayed here for 1 night for a trip to the utilita arena. Walked there and to the train station within around 15-20minutes saving on transport costs. Great breakfast selection and happily catered for a vegan diet. Overall felt good value for money especially given the central location. Would definitely choose to stay here again. "

What a treat, will be back!

"The service was fantastic from the moment we came through the doors. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The hotel is gorgeous, I had serious bathroom envy. The decor in general was lovely. We managed to get seats in the beautiful bar, the cocktails are amazing. Comfortable beds, a shower I didn’t want to get out of (although a steady hand is needed to switch between the settings) and a good selection of refreshments in the room. This stay was for a birthday treat and we were not disappointed! "
