"Positives: The staff were excellent, very helpful and polite. The hotel is managed well and very clean. Plenty of parking (including electric charging stations) on site and secure gated access to enter the country club. We had some issues in the room which were resolved very promptly. The breakfast was great and many varied options. Negatives: The rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. The bedroom and bathroom are very dated. The fridge in the room was very small. "

"Decent hotel, although a little confusion on the bed sizes as different description on various sites including their own. Expected a king sized bed the room had a double. Even the front desk were unable to accurately state what size beds were in the rooms. Breakfast was very enjoyable. And the hotel bar is well stocked with good service, albeit they could have been quicker to clear empty tables of drinks."

"Really large room (superior) and all was clean. The room was almost too big for the lack of furniture! A small sofa would have been nicer than the two armchairs. Also very limited tv - why hotels don’t let you use tv apps I don’t know? Bathroom was a good size and toiletries provided. Coffee set up was basic - would have liked to see a coffee machine and more than just Nescafé sachets from a 4 star hotel"

"Overall a good weekend stay. Room had almost all that was needed, only 1 pillow. Asked for more and quickly forthcoming, but never been at a hotel before where had to ask. Also only one towel for 2 occupants, then found spare hidden in wardrobe of all places. As noisy as any similar hotel in corridor and doors banging. Didn't hear neighbours banging... Bar shuts at 11 and with no where else to go, the place is loosing out on punters that would have bought more after events and reception. ...
