"The hotel was good. It's old Mexico so you can't have 5 star expectations. The staff was friendly enough. Our room faced the street so it wasn't super quiet but it was neat hearing the sounds of Mexico every morning. The doors were fairly thin as well so you could hear everything anyone was saying outside your room at all times. I would have no problems recommending this hotel. "

"First off, I hate big shiny resorts. This building if rather old and is showing her age. If you are a resort/cruise ship kind of person, this may not be the place for you. The staff was super helpful whenever I needed anything. It is close enough to the Malecon that it is an easy walk down, but a requires a bit more effort on the way up the hill. The payoff is great views of Bay of Banderas. As many have stated, the beds are rather hard, but bearable."

"We liked that we had 2 queen beds and they were in seperate areas. We had 2 tvs too. We had a nice size fridge. The staff was really friendly and let us check in early as the room was ready. We didn't like that it was in an area that's across a plaza and it is noisy right up until 2 am. Other than that it was really comfortable and convenient. Walking distance to all the restsurants and the beach. Would stay again. "
