"We enjoyed staying here very much. It was nice because it was a mostly Mexican clientele, and we weren't surrounded by other gringo's like ourselves. Haha. That's kind of the point of visiting another country. The only complaints we had were that despite having a beautiful private beach, the house music was way too loud. If you like the music, take a seat near the speaker. There was no option to find a seat away from the noise and enjoy a book with the sound of waves and human conversation....

"We had a wonderful stay at the Marcela Resort and Spa. Nobody in our group used the spa services but we loved everything about our suite. The layout was very functional and allowed us to have meals together as a family (8 people in total) and there were plenty of places where everyone could sit and relax either on our patio or at the pool. Having a dishwasher and laundry machines in the suite was so handy for a large group. Showers were a bit chillier than we're used to (hot water wasn't hot)...

"It was a beautiful place that needs some TLC. Maybe we just missed busy season but only a few guests there so it was a little spooky for my daughter not seeing anyone in this huge place. The very few staff members we saw were really nice but spoke little English so couldn't ask them much. That's ok since I was visiting their country and know basic Spanish.
