"Our three nights at Bahia Bonita were wonderful! It was only a 3 minute walk from the water taxi pier to the property. We were pleased to be met at the pier by staff who helped carry our luggage. The view of the bay and beach is incredible, and you can hear the water all night, regardless of which room you’re in. "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Xinalani. The rooms and public spaces were beautiful. The food was outstanding. The service was kind and attentive. I have been visiting Puerto Vallarta for years but this was the best trip. Being on a secluded private beach and watching all the wildlife was fantastic. The daily yoga class is not to be missed. Nearby is a fun walk to a waterfall, a small town to wander, and a longer hike to other beaches. "

"Such a hidden gem. This place is more than a stay. It's an experience. Things to note are that you have to take a small boat to reach the property so pack light. The nature and beach are beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the perfect blend of shelter and being one with nature. The restaurant on site is superb with quality organic ingredients that create art on a plate. Staff is friendly, approachable and super helpful. Can't wait to come back. "

"If you truly want to get away, this is the place. Don’t expect nightlife or very much of a day-life outside hiking to the waterfall or sitting on the beach. For me, that was just enough! "The property is located right above the outcropping that separates the 2 beaches at Yelapa, and the gate is in the main path in town. "We loved this property but recognize the steep walk up and 55 steps down to our room might not be for everyone. It was just fine for us because the only noise was the sound of waves against the rocks below our room. Also, communication was excellent for us due to problems with Expedia but our hostess patient and helpful. The rooftop patio was lovely with great views of the harbour. "We loved the patio. Perfect place to do yoga, watch birds and the sunrise hits the patio directly which is amazing in the morning. The bed was comfortable and the host(s) are very responsive. The house is up on the hill, but it only takes 5-10 minutes to walk into town. Yelapa has lots going on at night and can be loud, we found the location of this house to be located perfectly as it is close to town but far enough away that you're not surrounded by it. We would definitely stay again!"
