"Our stay at Villa Lala was spectacular. The views of the ocean were beautiful beyond words. The gardens were landscaped perfectly and the photos could never do it justice. The staff was very kind, special shout out to Catalina who made our stay extra special. We will absolutely be back. "

"I wanted to visit Boca de Tomatlán for several years and finally got my chance. I knew I would have to cross a bridge over a river to get to this place and was prepared. The address listed does not show up on Google Maps. It could be added if the host wanted to. I found the building on the map and tried to get the manager to confirm that I was looking at the right place but could not get a confirmation. I thought I was messaging with the hostess but in fact it was the manager who was very friendly. I could not communicate with him in Spanish which was frustrating until I found out he was a French Canadian and spoke perfect English. He was very helpful. The building I was looking at on the map was the correct place and my UBER driver helped me carry my suitcase over the bridge crossing the river. The room was clean and the kitchen appliances were not. I scrubbed the dish dry rack and the blender but did not touch the coffee maker which was filthy. The view from the balcony was fantastic and the location was convenient for me for where I wanted to fish from the shore and also a quick walk into town. It was a great adventure and a great stay."

"Don't be fooled by this property post. When I rented, the post stated I was renting an "entire" property that had a pool. Not at all the case. This property is an apartment complex with shared amenities. The unit itself is a studio with two or three other apartments above it. There were entire families staying in the units above during our entire stay. The pool was occupied on a daily basis with kids for the duration. Was a material mis-post. Aside from that, the unit itself is as pictured. The location is perfect."

"Clean comfortable Casitas on an amazing beach. Staff is helpful and kind. Suites are amazing. Grounds are well kept. They even lit a bonfire for us on the beach and brought us marshmallows ♡ We love it every time we come. "

"CBB is conveniently located by the main pier. It’s away from the main town which makes it very quiet. The views are the best! The staff was incredibly helpful as well. There is about a .5 mile walk across the beach to town which can be a lot so be mindful. All in all, we’d stay here again if we were to revisit."

"Casa Gratitud is one of the most uniquely gorgeous and incredible properties I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. From its remote nature and impeccable views to the hospitable and helpful host family, Casa Gratitud is a true piece of heaven on earth. My friend and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Gratitud for three days and had two large suitcases with us due to some prior travel. If you have larger luggage, I would definitely recommend booking the private boat ride and luggage help that will be offered to you- it was a truly seamless experience! From pick up at Boca de Tomatlan in PV to walking our bags all the way into the living room of Casa Gratitud, we couldn't have asked for an easier travel experience. It is definitely a strenuous walk up the hill to the Casa, so don't feel bad about needing to rest! The wonderful host family pre-stocked the fridge for us with delicious essentials like fresh fruit, breakfast items, etc.. It was perfect! Another aspect we would recommend taking advantage of to make your stay even better. Definitely be sure to bring enough pesos for the duration of your stay in Yelapa as there are no ATMs. Steve and his local host family did an incredible job of giving us all of the essential information we needed to feel prepared in traveling to a remote town like Yelapa. We cannot wait to book another stay at Casa Gratitud!!"
