"Quiet, peaceful, beautiful… I didn’t want to leave. My room, 307, looked out to the sea and was perfect for what I needed. It had a huge tiled deck to watch the sunrise from (although you could watch it from bed) and the room was exactly as pictured. The little restaurant by the sea was delightful. Oscar and the other waiters took good care of me while dining and at the pool.The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Here again, everything is as pictured. "The food was amazing, I had so much wonderful food. There were some good activities. The catamaran and snorkling was nice. I paid extra to scuba dive and it was wonderful. Booking dinner is somewhat complicated. You should do it as soon as you arrive because many restaurants don't have availability unless you're a week out. There is an app but it doesn't always work, so you have to book with a concierge and they aren't always near your room, have limited operating hours, and sometimes...

"Casa Azul Maya is a beautiful little hotel located on the south end of Isla. The room was clean and the amenities were perfect. The included breakfast at Kin Ha is a big plus. Check in was so easy! Angel, the receptionist, was so kind and made the experience that much better. We loved our stay here!"

"The staff that manages the property were very nice and friendly. They cleaned the rooms daily. Rooms came with bottled water service. The Mayan Beach club, which runs the restaurant and serves food and drinks to the pool and beach side are super nice and accomodating."

"It's a nice apartment with a fridge. Service was prompt but it has to be with the Hotel.com app only. There should be one microwave in the common area. And it's hard to communicate as the doorman and host do not speak English. I had to use the translator a lot. Otherwise it's a nice place. "

"I had an amazing experience at this resort! The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the transportation was super easy, making everything hassle-free. I loved that it was a little away from the nightlife—it gave the perfect balance of relaxation while still being just 10 minutes away from Coco Bongo. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall, I had a great time, and the resort truly gives you the full Mexico experience. Highly recommend!"

"Studio room perfect for a couple and rooftop pool area is picturesque for sunrise or sunset. On site team was very attentive to any issue or request. We would choose this property again in the future. For exploring and getting around a golf cart works well. "

"Been traveling and bouncing from hotel to hotel Wanted to get a house as we are a big family of 7 so we can all be together . Frist off the pictures are outdated those are from when the place was just open the outside look horible and dangers.the house inside is not that bad just need a good actual deep clean and a couple touch ups and replacements especially the shower head and the windows springs as they are alot of mosquitos . Would not recommend unless your use to water bug roaches and...

"Property was very nice, would have liked a bar and cafe on site. They allow private events so we didn’t get to use the pool 1 day because there was a private event. We had some issues with the electric but I’m sure that will be fixed. "

"We enjoyed the stay at this hotel. They had great hospitality, great food atmosphere the beach was clean. The rooms were nice and clean. The views were amazing from the balconies. We will definitely go back to this place and we recommend it to others as well."

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

"After reading some recent negative reviews about the Royalton Riviera Splash Cancun, I was hesitant to book with my girlfriend. But to our surprise, the resort was spotless, the staff was super friendly, and our experience exceeded expectations! Don’t let bad reviews scare you. The pools were awesome, and our room was clean and well-kept. The food was solid—the buffet was always good, and some specialty restaurants were definitely worth checking out. Our favorite was Hunter Steakhouse, with Agave and the Cave also being really good. Just keep expectations reasonable! Shout-out to Alberto, who was a server/bartender by the pool. I asked for a beer, but they were out. Instead, he noticed I had a cocktail the day before and brought it to me without me asking—that’s top-notch customer service! Also, thanks to Felipe, who helped plan our excursions. He didn’t just try to sell us things but actually gave great recommendations. We had an awesome time at Islas Mujeres and snorkeling with green turtles! FYI the beach is not crystal-clear water, which we expected, but it was still beautiful and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing. One heads-up: get to the pool early (7-8 AM) to grab a good spot as it fills up fast! Overall, we had a great stay, and every worker we encountered was friendly and helpful! "
