"Nice place, good pools, lots of places to dine in and walk paths to take after a dinner. Very friendly staff. We picked Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal because it gives access to all the restrants, pools and branches.But it turned out that some beaches don't allow kids, but there are no signs saying that. We've been asked to leave once. I'd say Luxury Akumal is not really kids friendly "

"We had a wonderful experience (April 2025). The grounds are beautiful, lots of pool options, the beach is beautiful. Everything is close, so you are not walking forever to get everywhere. The kids club is amazing, my children loved all the activities and the girls who ran it. There was lots of options in the buffet evey night and nice restaurants to choose from. It wasnt busy this time of year so we didnt have to wait for anything and got our spots on the beach easily. Fyi: if you book through expedia watch if the transportation from airport to resort is included, ours wasnt, we just assumed it was, so that was very unpleasant surprise. Otherwise, i highly recommend the resort"

"The food was truly exceptional. The drinks were good, and the atmosphere was renovated and relaxing. I heavily suggest visiting Grand Serenis if you are a young couple, group of friends, or small sized family. The staff were very attentive and informative, providing us with any and all assistance we required. Whether that was suggestions of good local attractions, restaurant's, and medical assistance as well."

"Awesome property! Came here on our honeymoon and it was a perfect 10/10. Staff very attentive, food was excellent, pools were very clean and safe! Beaches were perfect. Recommend doing the turtle experience and participating in activities. So much fun and relaxing at the same time!! Special thank you to Francisco and Sergio at check in, Karen the concierge of building 9a, Luis David Reuben with the pool staff, Karla with the Bali bed wait staff, and Max, Mayra, Carlos, and Liz with entertainment staff - everyone of these people made the trip even more memorable for our honeymoon.
