"The property itself is amazing and beautiful. It is a very quiet and very well kept hotel. We loved the food options that the buffet offered and the restaurants as well. Our room was very nice and we were upgraded to the penthouse suite with the rooftop hot tub. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Cons: people smoke everywhere. There is designated smoking areas but it doesn’t matter. People smoke by the pool, the beach, on walkways and on their balconies so you can smell smoke everyone. Also, there was random pest control done at 6 pm on a Wednesday while people were walking. It smelled like chemicals and was on the walkways. "

All the staff were engaging and friendly. I really felt welcome and a part of their community. A very important part of Akumal Natura is their wild animal rescue and tour is not to be missed. "
