"Great location, central to lots of attractions and easy to walk to the nearest trainline etc. Lovely room, quiet, clean and well serviced. Hotel staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for you. The only thing we found quite strange was the hotel bars shutting quite early but it just meant we went out to a local bar, so not a huge issue. "

"Amazing quality hotel. The staff is amazing and very attentive to all needs. The food is of very high quality and well served. Loved the jazz bar at night and the breakfast in the morning. I definitely give it 5 stars, but need to acknowledge that the gym is many steps below the quality of the rest of the hotel. There are also very limited vegan options in the restaurants, but they make up for it with great espresso! Will definitely return to The Carlyle on subsequent visits to NYC! "

"The hotel had no record of my VIP status. However, Jeromy (I believe was his name) a young desk clerk kindly upgraded us on his own accord. He also put Happy Anniversary on our bed and gave us a wonderful hotel candle as a gift. The hotel was great but I am concerned that for the second time our VIP status was not known to the hotel. Please note the reason I chose that hotel was because of the VIP benefit. Im hopeful that that doesn't happen again. "
