The location is superb for seeing temples on the west side of Kyoto, and it’s always easy to get around, either via their free shuttle bus to Kyoto Station, or by nearby public transit with a few blocks’ walk. The staff offers world class hospitality. I could not have asked for a better stay. "

"The most amazing hotel with the most attentive staff! Our experience all around was amazing. Of course check in was great and the property itself is beautiful (with great room service) but the staff going above and beyond is what makes this a true 5-star property. My husband tore his favorite jacket on a night out in town and the hotel staff was able to source a vendor to fix it for us overnight before we flew out.
