"-The rooms are more "American" sized. -7 minute walk from Nijo station -breakfast buffet was excellent, japanese and Western foods -right next to a 7-eleven and grocery store is just a block away -would definitely stay here again. "

"A bit far walk (20mins) from the main shijo area, however close to a train station (6mins walk). Could hear trains passing frequently until midnight which was quite annoying, but it could be better if your room faces the other direction."

"Hotel was spotless. Staff was helpful and friendly. The public bath was awesome. 1 thing we liked was, on the TV, there is notification of how busy the public bath and the breakfast area was. As well it notified you if the 4 coin laundry machines were being used and how much time is left on each. Great hotel. Close to the subway."

"The staff were nice and kind. Were really helpful even with the language barrier. The rooms are always clean when you're in Japan. You can always count on cleanliness in Japan. Naturally, the room we had was a bit small from your average double-sized bedroom, but it was completely manageable with our 2 check in luggages and 2 carry on. Great price for what we got. Breakfast was okay, but useful if you don't want to worry about breakfast in the morning. Recommended stay for budget travellers. "

"Read my previous review. Stayed for 7 nights. Great value, great location, free welcome drinks u til 9 pm everyday. Supermarkets and convenience stores very close by as in next door on both sides, across the street and around the corner. Great location because it is between two subway train stations and lots of bus routes right outside the hotel.
