"Vischio Kyoto is a great choice near Kyoto station (you need to cross the street from the station to get here unlike the other Granvia which is inside the station) Great morning buffet and a great onsen and dry sauna for men. Also a good lobby and a reading room with unlimited tea also makes this hotel a great choice."

"The Mitsui Garden was a wonderful place to stay. We were walking and touring around Kyoto all day and it was lovely to come home and relax in our room, use the onsen and sneak up to the nearby supermarket for snacks. Great location, lovely staff and a very nice environment."

"Amazing location steps from the Kyoto train station. In the station is a food court with excellent dining options, and it is a short Uber or 20 minute walk up to the Nishiki market region for shopping (both upscale and more traditional). The amenities were excellent and the breakfast was very good. Staff service was amazing. We would not hesitate to stay here on every trip to Kyoto!"
